Sales of eyeglass lenses rose 22 percent year-over-year in all regions thanks to a strengthened sales structure in the U.S. and a rebound from COVID-19 in China. Contact lens sales increased 10 percent due to sales promotion and strong sales of private brand products (hoyaONE). Sales on intraocular lenses (IOLs) increased 23 percent during the same period.
