Vuarnet Launches the Nightlynx Lens Collection
Quick Take: Vuarnet recently launched Vuarnet Nightlynx lenses which are engineered to deliver clarity and visual sharpness in low light conditions including night, dusk, dawn, rain and fog.

Specifics: Vuarnet’s Nightlynx collection features yellow lenses that are set against matte black frames. The collection is available in five styles including Vuarnet’s 02 cat eye, 03 “The Dude,” Edge Round, District Square and the oversized aviator “Tom.”
Selling Points: Useful for driving at night or other low light conditions, Nightlynx lenses eliminate glare and improve contrast and distance perception. The bi-degraded silver mirror treatment increases efficiency against glare caused by the reflection of light on the road. The multilayer AR coating on the internal face also works to eliminate stray reflections. The lenses are designed to block 100 percent of UV rays and harmful blue light by stopping the Xenon and LED portion of the visible light spectrum, the company said.

Safilo Debuts Kate Spade New York Fall/Winter 2017 Collection
Quick Take: In this latest Kate Spade New York collection, the styles take inspiration from 1920s Paris, drawing from the people, ideas and cultural influences of the time.
Specifics: The collection, comprised of both optical and sun styles, features a color palette of hues such as dusky roses, tones of cream and camel and black with leopard as an unexpected pop of print.
Selling Points: The Adelais sun style is romantic yet sophisticated. This round metal sunglass with decorative acetate temples, features the signature metal spade logo on the left temple and nose pads to insure a perfect fit. The Drystle sun style is a playful square shaped acetate sunglass, with a decorative metal rim, it is accented by delicate enamel poppy flowers which serve as a whimsical detail. In optical, Charissa is a classic round shaped frame in acetate that is coupled with a keyhole bridge and a two-tone gradient coloration, but solid colors are also available. The optical style Aisha 2 is a soft cat eye shape with a bold front and temples in acetate provide for a dramatic look in black with a playful leopard print temple interior and dark Havana cherry with a cherry interior. ic! berlin Gets Geometric With the Suprematism Collection
Quick Take: ic! berlin channels its more geometric side with the debut of the Suprematism collection.
