Specsavers, the U.K.-based, multi-national eyewear retailer who has been running their “Should’ve Gone to Specsavers” ad campaign for years now, offered this take (left) on the historic Best Picture envelope flub at the Academy Awards. In a related post, AllAboutVision, the eye health website, suggested that reading glasses might have been in order for the “Bonnie and Clyde” presenters, aka, Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.
