DUBLIN, Calif. and JENA, Germany—Zeiss has acquired Veracity Innovations, a medical software company in Temple, Texas. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Veracity Innovations was founded by ophthalmologists Kyle Smith, MD, Kerry Solomon, MD and Jeremiah Elliott. The company markets an intelligent, cloud-based platform for cataract surgical planning, management and analysis.
