Darrell has been in the optical industry for 35 years, joining the family business right out of college. His father founded the company in 1963, making Paradise Optical Hawaii’s oldest optical store. “We’ve enjoyed growing with our customers, serving multiple generations of Paradise Optical families,” Darrell said. “My father always said, ‘The small details are the most important, because they’re the hardest to see.’ I’ve continued to apply this lesson to the business, always promising our customers the attention to service and quality that he would be proud of.”

He owns eight optical frames and three pairs of sunglasses.
