ROSSDORF, Germany—Vision Ophthalmology Group (VOG), a leading group of independent European distributors of ophthalmic products, announced that its founding member and CEO, Andrew Geddes, is stepping aside and Roland Bruhin, is taking over his responsibilities. Bruhin was previously CEO of Zuellig Asia Pacific, a family-owned multi-billion revenue specialty health care distribution business serving 300,000 health care professionals across 15 Asian markets. Geddes, who formed and has grown the company since 2015, will become chairman of the company’s advisory board.

Bruhin became the CEO Healthcare Distribution and Commercialization of Zuellig Asia Pacific in 2011 and has previously held various other positions during 15 years with the company. Before joining Zuellig Asia Pacific, he spent five years at Sika, the listed Swiss specialty chemicals company, and Wander, the food division of Sandoz/Novartis.
