NEW YORK—Super, for the fourth year in a row, has designed an exclusive collectible eyewear collection in conjunction with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

The collaboration between the foundation and Super includes two “tongue in cheek sunglasses that interpret Andy Warhol’s legacy at the intersection of art and design.” Sourced from the foundation’s archives, this collection is centered on the 1950s motif—a series of illustrations of pupils and eyes drawn by Warhol during his career as a commercial illustrator in New York City.

The first model Super/Andy Warhol Untitled (Eyes) I features a well-rounded design created by layering high quality, laser shaped lenses. The second model from the collaboration, Super/ Andy Warhol Untitled (Eyes) II plays with a full-metal structure giving shape to a minimalist yet innovative and visually expressive frame. Each of the frames features dedicated branded inscriptions inside the temples. Additionally, the models come in custom-designed leather cases and dedicated printed box.

This collaboration, which celebrates an avant-garde approach to creativity through the interpretation of drawing in three-dimensional form, is available at select retailers and at RetroSuperFuture.com.
