PARSIPPANY, N.J.—In celebration of Polaroid’s 80th anniversary, the company is rolling out its latest marketing campaign, Side Stories. The campaign revolves around five short videos starring authentic characters of different ages and talents who all love Safilo’s Polaroid Eyewear.

These artists featured in the campaign include Lion Babe, Elliott Sailors, Felipe Pantone, Sky Brown along with Skate Kitchen as well as Gabby David and Puff the Houseman. Side Stories campaign showcases each artist’s background such as fashion, street art, music, skateboarding and dance as they tell the viewers about themselves as well as present their vision for a better world.

“The concept of Instant Experience is a recurring theme in each of the Side Stories: the transformation, the moment in which, by improving our perception of what we see thanks to Polaroid, we give our best and express ourselves. Free to seize every occasion just as Land did 80 years ago, we clearly see the opportunities, beauty, truth and love which surrounds us,” the company said.

The Side Stories campaign in honor of Polaroid’s 80th anniversary will kick off on the Polaroid brand platform on May 31, 2017.
