NEW YORK—Safilo Group is honoring Harper’s BAZAAR’s 150th anniversary with the “First in Fashion-First in Eyewear,” an exclusive eyewear collaboration that affirms the trendsetting thought leadership powered by the unique heritage that both of these companies possess.

Safilo worked closely with Harper’s BAZAAR’s editorial team, getting inspiration from the magazines archives and iconic photography to create the capsule collection. The exclusive sunglass capsule collection was then designed in Safilo’s New York global design studio on Fifth Avenue with every product being crafted in Safilo’s Italian manufacturing ateliers.

Additionally, each style will be available in a limited run of 50 numbered pieces. They became available on the magazine’s online shopping destination ShopBAZAAR on Aug. 16 which sent consumers directly to Bergdorf Goodman, the exclusive retailer for the collection, for purchase. The collection became available in store at Bergdorf Goodman on Sept. 1.
