ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Registration is now open for Vision Expo East 2018, where attendees will get the first look at the new Vision Expo show experience at the Javits Center in New York, according to an announcement from show organizers. Vision Expo East education runs from March 15 to 18 and exhibits run from March 16 to 18. “With a new creative campaign, website and planning tools, visitors will get a taste of the new Vision Expo before even stepping foot in New York,” said Melissa Ashley, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions. “The changes carry over to an evolving exhibit hall, ensuring an engaging and valuable Show throughout all four days.”

Vision Expo’s recently launched website makes it easier than ever for visitors to register, connect with others and access the information and planning tools needed to tailor their time at the Show, the announcement said.

The website also displays Vision Expo’s new creative campaign, All About Eyes, and a taste of what’s to come once they arrive on-site including special events, education, complimentary amenities, contests and awards. Many of the events debuting in 2018 will take place in the Show’s newly transformed lounges to provide attendees with more opportunities to learn, socialize and engage with exhibitors and peers.

Following the previously announced addition of OptiCon at Vision Expo, as VMAIL reported in October show organizers also announced a new “OptiCon Hub”—an exhibit hall destination designed exclusively for opticians and contact lens technicians featuring content, networking and lounge space, and representation from ABO-NCLE and its partner organizations.

Through more than 260,000 net square feet of exhibit space, three fashion pavilions and three science pavilions, attendees will have access to the latest designer styles and cutting-edge innovations in products and technology both in the exhibit hall and through the robust education offerings featured at Vision Expo.
