NEW YORK— Privé Revaux, the affordable celebrity eyewear brand, has announced that it will expand its offerings to include prescription eyewear. The company will also offer online vision tests through Opternative on its website and expand its selection of optical styles with a full collection. Privé Revaux will offer its frames with prescription lenses, starting at $59.99 and the prescription frames will be available online at PriveRevaux.com and at its brick-and-mortar retail locations and kiosks around the globe.

"It has always been our plan to offer affordable prescription lenses to our customers," said David Schottenstein, founder of Privé Revaux. "It's the next logical step in giving our customers the absolute best quality, service and price out there. Customers have been asking for this on a daily basis and this led us to move up our timeline for launch."

The company has partnered with Opternative as an online option for vision testing. Privé Revaux customers will now have access to at-home vision tests for $25. Through the partnership, customers can enter the Opternative Eye Test on PriveRevaux.com, where they can take a seven to ten minute vision test via a smartphone, tablet or computer. Customers will receive a valid prescription, reviewed by an ophthalmologist, within 24 hours.

"We are very excited to provide online vision prescriptions on PriveRevaux.com," said Brent Rasmussen, CEO of Opternative. "Opternative's affordable, accurate prescription technology will ensure Privé Revaux customers have access to great prescription glasses at a great price."

Additionally, Privé Revaux is also launching The Philosopher Collection, a complete line of optical frames that pays homage to philosophers such as styles named: The Socrates, The Confucius, The Plato. Each style is made with high-end materials including scratch-resistant and anti-blue light treated lenses, and extremely lightweight, flexible and durable Ultem frames, the company stated.

As VMail previously reported, Privé Revaux was launched in 2017 by fashion entrepreneur David Schottenstein in collaboration with Jamie Foxx, Hailee Steinfeld, Ashley Benson and Jeremy Piven. Featuring only sunwear, the brand launched on Amazon Exclusives and were also available on PriveReveaux.com. Now, they are working with select retailers to sell their collections and have opened a Prive Revaux flagship store in New York City and kiosks in Florida, California, New York state and New Jersey.
