Prevent Blindness to Host 10th Annual Swing Fore Sight Golf Tourney Sept. 13 in Las Vegas

CHICAGO—The 10th Annual Prevent Blindness Swing Fore Sight Golf Tournament, held in conjunction with Vision Expo West, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at the Spanish Trail Country Club, Las Vegas. All proceeds from the event will go to support the sight-saving programs and services of Prevent Blindness, the nation’s oldest volunteer eye health non-profit organization. Registration and breakfast will begin at 6 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 7 a.m.

Transitions will serve as the event’s Gold Sponsor. Sponsorships are available including the Silver Sponsor level, award sponsor, breakfast or lunch sponsors, hole sponsors, golfer gift sponsors and more.

“We invite everyone to come help us celebrate a very special milestone, our 10th Annual Swing Fore Sight Golf Tournament,” said Hugh R. Parry, president and CEO of Prevent Blindness. “This will be a very special occasion, to not only help support our programs, but spend the day with leaders in the vision industry who are dedicated to helping to protect the gift of sight.”

Foursomes are available for $2,750 and individual golf slots are $700 for the four-person scramble. Those interested can join leading vision industry representatives on the Swing Fore Sight golf committee including Co-Chairs Andy Alcorn, Michael Block, The Block Business Group, and Andy Davis, Bouchard Insurance.
