COPENHAGEN, Denmark—Orgreen Optics has launched a collection designed for the futuristic facial scanning platform, Yuniku.

Orgreen’s collection with Yuniku features 12 models in six color variations made from a lightweight polyamide material for both men and women. The company has also brought in the high-tech facial scanner in its flagship store in Copenhagen. Yuniku’s technology features a special scanner that measures a person’s facial features. Lenses are individually designed and the frame is 3D printed around the person’s individual needs.

Henrik Orgreen, CEO at Orgreen Optics said, “This is part of the future, whether it grows big or small, it will find its natural level within the eyewear industry. We always keep a close eye on the technology and development within eyewear and we are therefore very positive when early on we were contacted by Hoya, the company behind the Yuniku platform. They are truly ahead of their time when it comes to vision-centric 3D-tailored eyewear. This collaboration is therefore a great opportunity to add our design expertise to the most advanced platform of its kind in the industry.”
