DUBLIN—Ocuco, a leading provider of optical practice and lab software for the global eyecare industry, has been named as one of Ireland’s best managed companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards program, according to an announcement from Ocuco. The company, which demonstrated superior business performance was recognized at an awards gala dinner in Dublin in March. The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards program is celebrating 10 years of recognizing management excellence. As part of the program, 22 new companies join a requalifying network of more than 100 companies, built over a decade of the program.

The awards, in association with Bank of Ireland, culminated with the Best Managed Companies Awards symposium and gala, which was attended by over 1,000 people from the Irish business community. In total, 137 companies were recognized as Best Managed Companies and have a combined revenue of over €12 billion.

Commenting on the award, Leo MacCanna, CEO of Ocuco said, “The Best Managed Companies has been an excellent opportunity to review, probe and test our strategy, management systems and team within a formal framework provided by Deloitte.
