NEW YORK—Vision Expo is proud to have partnered with ABO & NCLE and its affiliates to bring the industry’s premier opticianry and contact lens fitters education program to the largest gathering of eyewear and eyecare professionals in the Americas.

Through the partnership between Vision Expo and OptiCon, attendees will find the personalized program they have come to expect from the OptiCon meeting as well as expanded educational and networking opportunities. The most comprehensive options for learning and sourcing for opticians and contact lens technicians will also be available at Vision Expo West this September.

“The opticianry community is a vital part of the overall eye health industry,” said Melissa Ashley, Reed Exhibitions senior vice president. “By combining our resources with OptiCon, we can ensure that opticians and contact lens fitters receive the highest quality, most diverse and most affordable educating programming available.”

Opticians and contact lens technicians have access to a comprehensive package that includes 15 hours of ABO & NCLE approved continuing education, Exhibit Hall access, 2 lunch vouchers, tailored special events (including a welcome party and peer networking), and access to discounted rates at a dedicated hotel.

In addition to more than 75 hours of educational content developed by the OptiCon Advisory Board, and just steps away from the largest Exhibit Hall of eyewear and eyecare products in the Americas, opticians and contact lens technicians can now take ABO & NCLE review courses and sit for exams at Vision Expo East.
