LAS VEGAS—The 2015 Specialty Health Summit, held jointly by the National Association of Vision Care Plans and the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations, has announced its agenda and speaker roster for the event to be held May 4 to 6 at The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas.

ABC News special correspondent, Matthew Dowd will present “The Politics of Healthcare” in the keynote address sponsored by VSP Vision Care.

Specifically vision-related sessions will cover “A U.S. Market Overview and Trend Perspective” by Vision Monday’s Marge Axelrad and “Medical Plan Seeks Vision Care Coverage – Matchmaking in Today’s Health Marketplace” about what medical plans are looking for in vision care benefits.

Also for the vision care executives attending, a breakout panel on “Provider Practice Consolidation – Impact on Managed Vision Care” will be moderated by Visibility Management’s Richard Sanchez with speakers Dan Chambers, executive director, Key-Whitman Eye Center; Anne Kavanagh, founder and CEO, Kavanagh Consulting, LLC; and Michael Watts, principal, Linden Capital Partners

Another breakout panel on “Forgoing the Distance – Delivering Vision Care through Telemedicine” will be moderated by Joe Wende, OD, VP, managed care, Zeiss.
