RALEIGH, N.C.—Local Eye Site, an online employment site for eyecare professionals, recently launched the newest version of their website. Their site, localeyesite.com, has been redesigned to improve the user experience for both job-seekers and employers, according to an announcement from the company.

The enhanced website includes streamlined page-to-page navigation and a scrolling webpage to make the site more user-friendly. Incorporated into the new design is a social platform intended to attract more job-seekers and a chat feature that increases the ability to connect with customer support. The website also offers a new blog that delivers advice on how to best navigate the employment market in the eyecare industry.

“Local Eye Site remains the leading job board for the eyecare industry, but we’ve also evolved as a robust recruitment services company,” stated Local Eye Site president Brad McCorkle. “Our new site better reflects these new products, services and capabilities.”

This recent upgrade is the second phase of a site enhancement project that began with a renovation of the back-end of the website in 2016 and included a new Applicant Tracking System for employers. Local Eye Site streamlined the job-seeking, recruiting and hiring process as a part of this project in order to strengthen their position as a leader in online job recruiting in the eyecare industry.
