Kathleen McMinn
RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., and LINTHICUM, Md.—Kathleen McMinn has been named vice president of marketing for the company formed by the merger of Superior Vision and Block Vision in December 2013. She succeeds Carol Misso, who had been vice president of marketing for Superior Vision since January 2009.

Specializing in business-to-business and business-to-business-to-consumer marketing, McMinn was previously vice president of marketing for TransitChek (acquired by WageWorks in February 2013) and vice president of Weight Watchers and ADP. She will be based in the company’s New Jersey office.

“We are very pleased to have Kathleen join the company,” said Andy Alcorn, executive vice president of the merged company and previously Block Vision’s president/CEO. “She will participate in bringing the companies together into a single strong brand, spearheading the effort to reinforce Superior’s and Block’s position among the independent provider community, payers and decision makers. Positioning the merged company for the marketplace, Kathleen will help convey the new personality and capabilities of the combined companies.”

Kirk Rothrock, CEO of the combined company, said, “Kathleen is uniquely qualified to lead our efforts to communicate the value we deliver to all of our stakeholders—provider partners, agents and brokers, health plans, employers and members.”
