MINNEAPOLIS— Karlsrud Contact Center Solutions (KCCS), formerly 6 Calls, the first telephone support company owned, operated and staffed by veterans of the optical industry, has announced the official relaunch of their Telecare service.

“Telecare was born out of the need for independent doctors of optometry to manage inbound and outbound phone pressures without needing to hire additional staff,” said Mike Karlsrud, CEO of KCCS. “Our clients are all facing the same issue. If every patient just takes 3 minutes longer to process, test or record information into an electronic record system, that adds up to over 90 minutes per day that phones are not being answered or outbound calls made.”

KCCS works with practices from one to multiple locations and offers a professional and affordable support solution that is scalable for what clients need, when they need it, Karlsrud said.

The Telecare team makes reminder, recall and reactivation calls, and takes inbound calls and schedules them directly into most practice management systems. “We have covered phones for clients anywhere from one hour to eight hours a day. The overwhelming demand from previous customers inspired us to relaunch Telecare,” Karlsrud added.
