NEW YORK—It’s no longer a challenge keeping track of each state’s optometric scope of practice laws with this newly updated infographic.

​ NewGradOptometry.com’s Quy Nguyen, OD, and founder Matt Geller, OD, have developed an infographic clearly stating what each state allows. Check out the infographic on VM’s Multimedia web page for a U.S. map that compares the current scope of practice in each state. In addition, a milestone timeline shows the progress optometry has made since the Optical Society of the State of New York—later to become the AOA—was formed in 1896.
