NORWALK, Conn.—IDOC, a privately held alliance of independent optometrists, is launching a “Satisfaction Guarantee” program that allows independent OD’s to take full advantage of an IDOC membership program risk-free, according to an announcement Monday. If a member is not completely satisfied with their IDOC membership, their dues will be refunded in full if all conditions of the offer are met, the announcement noted. “At IDOC, we’re so confident that OD’s will see their membership positively impacting their business bottom line and facilitating growth in their business goals, we’re willing to commit to the satisfaction guarantee program,” IDOC president and chief executive officer Dave Brown said in the announcement.

The IDOC 100 percent Satisfaction Guarantee is full assurance that an IDOC membership meets the OD’s needs and provides a “unique value add,” the announcement noted.

Members can choose from a variety of IDOC plans that provide tools related to staffing goals, retail development and marketing plans. The membership levels are IDOC Essential, IDOC Advisor and IDOC Select.

Separately, IDOC announced that it is expanding and introducing a new IDOC Select Contact Lens Plan that will offer OD's “enhanced choice and flexibility,” according to an announcement. As of Monday, IDOC members have access to a new IDOC Select Contact Lens Plan, in addition to the current IDOC Select Contact Lens and Lab Plan offering.

“Our IDOC Select membership plans offer industry leading benefits to our members—paving the way for accelerated practice growth, while helping independent OD's achieve their goals, at every stage of their practice,” Brown said. “In addition to this, at IDOC, we understand that every optometry practice is unique and choice matters, which is why we've added the choice of the Select Contact Lens Plan to complement our current IDOC Select Contact Lens and Lab offering."

This choice makes it easier and simpler for OD's to access the benefits of their IDOC Select Membership on their contact lens business, while maintaining flexibility with an existing preferred lab provider, the announcement noted. As with the existing plan, Alcon and CooperVision continue as exclusive manufacturers to IDOC Select with unique offerings only found at IDOC, the announcement noted.
