HONG KONG—Mujosh, a fashion-focused eyewear brand based here, made its initial move into the U.S. market with the opening of new stores in the San Francisco and Los Angeles markets. The new stores are located at the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, the Westfield in San Francisco, and the Glendale Galleria in Glendale. The openings occurred in late February and March, according to an announcement by the company.
Established in 2010, Mujosh operates more than 700 optical stores located in shopping malls covering mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Australia and Canada.
“The opening of the stores in the U.S. represent a significant milestone in the ongoing global business expansion for Mujosh,” the company said in its announcement. The retailer relies on in-house designers from Hong Kong, mainland China and Korea.
It has selected Adrianne Ho, a Canadian-born model, designer and director known for her “Sweat the Style
