SUN VALLEY, Calif.—De Rigo REM announced the appointment of Gilda Mehraban as director of business development for North America. In her new role, Mehraban will play a key part in managing and developing the company’s key accounts channel across the U.S. and Canada as well as growing revenue by identifying new business opportunities.

“Gilda is extremely smart and eager to make the necessary investment of time and personal capital to ensure that our North American Key Accounts understand their value and what we can add to their assortments,” said Jim Sepanek, vice president of sales and marketing, De Rigo REM. “She brings a wealth of industry knowledge and her contribution to the development of a strong brand marketing team produces a synergistic effect as Gilda elevates in her new role.”

Mehraban has been with De Rigo REM for six years as head of brand marketing. Before working with the company she was the director of business affairs and legal counsel for CMG Worldwide, where she oversaw marketing and legal staff. In that role, she was involved in both the marketing and creating licensing opportunities for approximately 200 entertainment, music, sports and historical properties, the company said.
