LONDON—Brando Eyewear, a luxury subsidiary of Mondottica International, has announced the acquisition of Australian sunglass brand, Sunday Somewhere.

The acquisition will allow Mondottica to “assume the business of Sunday Somewhere including their staff, customer base and ‘state of mind,’ capitalizing on the strength of demand for the brand, customer service and brand experience,” the company said.

“The team at Mondottica have invested abundance of energy and resources over the past few years establishing Brando,” said Michael Jardine, Brando’s chief dreamer. “The Brando family is a collection of in-house contemporary eyewear brands each with their own unique product and position in the market. Adding Sunday Somewhere to this portfolio only cements this commitment and passion for being a leader in the eyewear industry.”
