Despite the fact that MTV plays very few actual music videos these days, they still hold their annual Video Music Awards (VMAs) to honor the year's best videos. Held on Sept. 23, this week's Bold Face features three of the most talked about stars from this year's awards...

British singer, songwriter and actress Rita Ora is one of the most sought after talents today, and was the second solo female artist to land four UK number ones in 2014. This triple threat recently performed her smash hit with Iggy Azalea, "Black Widow," at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Not only is her singing career taking off, but so is her acting career, as she is set to star in Fifty Shades of Grey which premiers in February 2015. Here, Ora wears the G-Star Raw GS604S sunglasses from Marchon...

At 44, Jennifer Lopez was giving ladies half her age a run for their money at this year's VMAs. Looking stunning in a revealing silver dress at the show, J Lo was in attendance to promote her latest song, also featuring Iggy Azalea, called, not surprisingly, "Booty." Considering they both have considerable assets in that regard, it's sure to be a hit. Recently, Lopez was snapped coming out of her NYC apartment wearing the Dita Condor sunglasses...

Miley Cyrus made quite the scene at last year's VMAs, so this year she used her notoriety to bring attention to a worthy cause with her win for Video of the Year for "Wrecking Ball." Instead of accepting the award herself, she sent formerly homeless runaway Jesse Helt (shown here), from the organization My Friend's Place to the stage to raise awareness for the cause and funds for the organization that helps runaway teens. The move still generated quite a bit of buzz for the performer but Bold Face can't help but focus on her awesome Safilo 80th Anniversary Limited Edition sunglasses inspired by those legendary art collector Peggy Guggenheim used to wear, posted here on her Instagram account.
